Problem with my fiat punto power steering, failing? power steering becomes heavy.?

Question:
red power steering light appears on dashboard

Answers:

Car warranty help please?

pretty sure puntos have electric feed power steering so dont bother looking for pumps fluids etc. if the steering becomes heavy its worth getting checked out, as it failing in the middle of a turn could be disastrous. Im not aware of any light on the dash that indicates anything to do with the steering, (my old punto certainly never had one) so if your seeing a light come on its worth looking in the manual to see what it is !

I am not familiar with the model but I deal with www.international-auto.com. They might help with that.

Any general normal problems with '99 Toyota Celica Convertable cars?

This could be as simple as low power-steering fluid to as complicated as a failed power-steering pump. If you don't have experience then have someone who knows about the power-steering check the fluid level for you and if the fluid is at the proper level, (over-full is as bad as not enough), then take it in to be serviced or have someone you can trust replace the pump. Hope this helps!

Citroen c2 Electric window issue?

Puntos have electric power steering, so don't waste your time looking for fluids or pumps!!
There could be a few reasons why it's going heavy, if the tyres are at the right pressure the only thing you can do is take it to a garage.
