Where can i find an header exhaust system?
there are basic things and more complicated things. It also depends on your budget. There are plenty of supercharger kits out there for mustangs. If you don't want to do that go for a chip. Beyond that the basics, intake, exhaust, headers if you don't already have them. You could also look into a turbo kit or even nitrous. This all depends on your budget and know how. Just don't expect huge gains if all you do is change the air intake exhaust.Galveston/houston Jeep Wangler rentals?
throw some juice to it. Or if your not wanting to go that route, then a programmer would up the ante a little.Try a Rousch supercharger for real fast.
Can i fit a dump valve to my ford escort 1.8td ? if i can where can i go ?
you could do exhaust, plenum and throttle body, or even getting gears will make it faster. with an auto i would suggest Ford Racing 4.10s.What is the value of a 2000 Civic Si Salvage title?
The Ford 5.0 litre motor has a ton of aftermarket products designed to boost power while still retaing good driveability characteristics. The biggest stumbling block that the stock motor has is restrictions in the intake and the exhaust. The motor wants to make power, but it cannot breathe.
On the intake side:
Air intake manifold should be replaced, I like the Edelbrock kits.
The stock cylinder heads also do not breathe well. Edelbrock makes aftermarket cylinder heads that are designed to match up with their intake manifolds.
On the exhaust side there are restrictions as well. You can either get an aftermarket exhaust system that will include headers all the way back to the tailpipe, or you can easily bolt on a kit that goes from the catalytic converter back. (Called a "cat-back" system.) I reccomend going with the full system including headers.
I am not a big fan of chips. They are cheap horsepower, to be sure, but I believe they do not help the longevity of the engine.
Because you have an automatic transmission, you can get a good result from installing a performance torque converter, and putting a shift kit in the transmission.
VERY IMPORTANT: With the AOD transmission, when travelling at highway speeds in overdrive, do not floor the accelerator. You will burn out the overdrive bands.
How low can I bargain the price down for a 2007 Subaru WRX Limited?
Go have a shift-kit installed in the transmission. you can add Hp all you want but you still have that sloppy automatic robbing it before it gets to the wheels. Remember HP at the wheels is what counts! Throwing money at the engine to increase HP is where EVERYONE goes wrong.I just bought a lexus, anyone wanna take a ride ?
