Trying to start 93 bmw 325i E36 m50 !! it ran one day and the next it wouldent start.?

Question:
I checked the spark and it is orange in color.i'v replaced the cam position sensor and the crank position sensor.i'v also pulled all plugs and they smelled of fuel.After i cleaned them all and dried them off it almost started.iv ask'ed around a bit and after the sensors being replaced the next in the line of expensive parts is the engine control module.Any ideas?
