Depends on what you really want. Do you want a luxury car with a little bit of performance or a muscle car with a lot of performance and very little luxury? Figure that one out first,Obviously, the Mustang GT will run circles around every CTS besides the CTS-V. But a Mustang V6 and the Caddy might be fairly close performance wise, especially if the Caddy has the larger V6, which is good for 255 hp. But even the smaller V6 is good for 210 horses in the Caddy. Get it with the manual tranny and it could be fun.

I'd rather have the Caddy over the V6 Mustang, but give me a Mustang GT over the CTS anyday. Have you thought about the Lincoln LS (2000-2005)?

Those two cars are not comperable in any way. I think you need to figure out what you are looking for.The CTS is bigger and less powerful, ( unless you spend 50 grand and get the CTS-V ) But the CTS will be more comfortable and have more luxury options. The Mustang is a muscle car. It's simple, it has a powerful motor and not much else in terms of refinement. The caddy is much more refined but also much more expensive.
Are Honda parts higher than Toyota parts?
I wouldn't take either of those cars, but if we're talking about a V6 Mustang, I would get the CTS. If we're talking about a V8, I would get the Stang. Unless we're talking about the CTS-V in which case I would take that. You have to be more specific son.PERFORMANCE: Mustang

The best mustang for the money is by far the 03-04 Cobra. You can find them all day long on ebay for around $25,000 and 700 HP!! The CTS just doesn't compare to it. Look up the 03-04 Cobra and you'll see what I mean.More Questions & Answers ...
