1999 chev gas 4x4 1/2 ton, when starting to drive truck hesitates,?

truck rpms are up but truck does not want to accelerate, put gear in neutral and the rpm go up, any iseals to the problem, thanks roto

I had a '91 Silverado that did the same thing. Was very intermittent though. When I was in park my rpm gauge would shoot right up. Turned out to be the computer causing the problem.
