you need the radio code. The directions for putting the code in are found in your owners manual. If you do not have the code, you will need to take it to a dealer. The radio will need to be removed, the serial number written down, and the dealer will get on Audi's mainframe and get the code for you. Once you have it DON"T LOSE IT. It is pricey to have to get the code again everytime you lose battery power either due to repair of bad battery!
