Easy street navigator?

In the US, most cities have designated bus stops. The bus will only pickup and dropoff there. The stops are usually only a few blocks apart, so getting off close to your destination should not be a problem. Some have benches, some have small enclosures, but others just have a sign.

What is a stop time at a traffic signal?

Note that a bus will only stop at a bus stop if it is dropping someone off or someone flags it down. To flag down the bus, just stick out your arm and wave. Once inside the bus, there is either a rope/cable running above the windows that you pull, or black strips near the door that you press to signal the driver to stop at the next stop.

Also, before you even go to the city where you plan to use the bus, check their website, or call them, to get information on fares, how you can pay (some won't make change), routes, and schedules.

You have to use the stops. I assume you live in the States as most people in Europe would know how to use a bus before using a computer! There will usually be a bell to ring on the bus and you ring this just before your intended stop.

haha haha haha first you know you gotta pay right?probly a dollar bring quarters you should see a bus stop it's like a bench or a bench with a roof or a pole with a metal sign like a stop sign with a schedule on it to tell you when the bus comes its always late though then you get on and pay the little machine right when you get on beside the driver the schedule should say how much then when you sit down or if you have to stand hold on to the bar above your head by the wall on the wall look for a chord-string thing you pull it down it should make a bong sound or there might not be a string it could be like a strip white rubber going up and down by the window you push that it goes bong too the bus won't stop where you want it too there has to be a bus stop there you should go early in the morning to practice and see where the bus goes in a big city they got diffrent routes like 111 or 30 or somthing so you might need a transfer its more complicated than i thought but i started riding the bus alone when iwas 10
