When your on the road and there are dumb *** drivers driving especially slow for no reason at all, do you think they should be ticketed just like the guy driving over the speed limit? I know some states say if your holding up more than 5 cars you have to pull over, but I seldom see it happen, and i've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for it. There might just be 1 or 2 people in line but they have to risk their lives going into the opposing lane just because some dimwit is too stupid to drive the speed limit.

I really don't think this Question was targeted for speeders or non speeders just if slow drivers should get a ticket...in my opinion if your impeding traffic meaning if the speed limit is 65 and your doing 45 then you should get a ticket as long as all the other traffic is doing 65. people are like sheep most of them just follow along and if someone is going really slow then that actually could cause an accident. impeding traffic is actually a moving violation in most states.Should I feel bad on the last lane on the left driving 75-80 mph...?

I've heard first hand accounts from elderly drivers where they have gotten tickets for going too slow.... so it does happen. Guess the cops feel that no one is going to be in danger for going slow, but the chances of someone dying for going too fast are greater. It's that whole risk/reward thing....u got that one right. they cause wrecks just like the ones that go over the speed limit. (they can also cause road rage to build)

Yes, definitelyO BOY!, another complainer, I drive 120,000 miles a year and the minimum speed on the freeway in most states is 45mph and that's the speed I always drive it saves lots of gas. I find that if you got to be someplace at a certain time that you just leave early to make sure you get there on time. if you want to sleep in every day and use your time up that's your problem. And if you want to drive fast get a job driving race cars on a closed track! Its speeding drivers just like you that cause problems on the road!
As much as it irks me to get stuck behind a slow driver (and I've had my share), as long as they are going to minimum then they should not be ticketed. However, most major highways do have a minimum (usually 40-45) and if they are going under that with no signs of car trouble (ie if theres a ton of smoke, let them pull over) then I think they should be ticketed as they are a danger to the road.

Some places do ticket slow drivers. I live in California and we see alot of people come up from Mexico and they think that the speed limit is in kilometers so when they drive 45k they are super slow. Probably not even legal to drive in the United States.I don't mind slow drivers as long as they drive in the slow lane it is the ones that insist on driving in the passing lane and clogging up traffic that should be ticketed.
Course the opposite is true too. A fast driver who zips from lane to lane is a worse threat.
