I would like to know why within a 15 mile range energy companies charge such different prices.?

Question:
I just got a delivery from my energy supplier for 2.499 a gallon. My son just 4 miles from me got his propane for 1.849 a gallon. Is that right? The same goes for gas in the same range.

Answers:

taxi anyone.?

Same supplier? Did your son sign a contract last spring or summer negotiating a lower price? There are many things you can do to lessen the total cost of your butane/propane. My suggestion to you would be to call several suppliers and ask them what they recommend. They will all have "pre-purchase" programs, or contracts to sign in the spring/summer locking in a hopefully lower price.
