What is the commute like if you live in Joliet and work in/near Wood Dale, IL?

Question:
We are looking to buy a home in the Joliet area but are unsure how bad the commute/traffic is between there and Wood Dale, IL. My fiance has to be at work by 6am, what time would have to leave Joliet to get there on time? The same applies with driving home...he usually gets off around 4-4:30...about how long would it take for him to drive home?

Answers:

Where can i get infornation on a high speed chasefrom houston texas dat happend NOV 30 2006?

The commute will be ruffly 1hr to 2hrs. depending on traffic and weather conditions. I was looking at a house in Romeoville and I worked in Elk Grove. That was how long it took me. This made me change my mind on the house.

how many speed cameras are there in the uk?

It's a nightmare just like all big city traffic

Are you a courteous driver, or a road rage bomb about to explode?

You might want to look elsewhere. Not only would the drive be horrible but so would be living in Joliet. It will only get worse with time as your home continues to drop in value.
