How is the traffic in Texas?

I would like to know how bad the traffic in in Texas around Dallas. If someone lived in Allen, Rockwall, or Plano and worked in Dallas how long would the commute be?

depends on your route in from these areas...but more than likely an hour or so. traffic in am and pm 6a and 7p can be a *****! and as long as there are no accidents traffic will keep plugging along. the news channels start about 4-5 am with traffic reports for commuters. good luck!! and it's MIX MASTER...

Rush hour?

the traffic will be heavy during commuting times, but unless an accident happens, it moves fairly well. traffic in north, east and south from the east into dallas isn't too bad, but if you are going downtown, or to the west side towards mid-cities it's pretty bad until you get past the downtown mish-masher. if at all posssible go around the south loop, and avoid the north and central area freeways.
