Question:
As soon as you can see the sign?
Once you pass the sign?
A certain number of feet from the sign?
When?
Answers:
Where exactly do signposts lead to?
technically speaking, it changes at the sign. but usually, u can get away with starting to speed up before u get there if the speed is increased. its a speed trap in the waiting when it applies to the 1's that reduce the speed. i have seen cops pull drivers over for not being at the lowered limit when u passed a 'reduced speed ahead' sign. guess some cops consider that 'absolute limits', and if ur not at that speed by the time u pass the sign, they'll tag u.Where can I find out truck route directions to queens from NJ?
Generally speaking, about 10 feet from the sign. How do i sign up to pimp my ride?
Though a cop won't pull you over if you see the speed limit change beyond the 10 feet, just as long as you see the sign.
As soon as you start to pass the sign! Maybe you've noticed in some areas Police will be waiting out of the line of view right behind the speed sign!..............
in most cases ,as soon as you see or pass the sign,,usually this is a good place to get a speeding ticket,,i got my first one in a zone like this,,but that's usually when your supposed to slow down,,is when you see it,good luck ,hope this help,s.happy new years.
got a fine for driving in a bus lane i can i get away withit?
just as the others said the speed limit takes effect at the sign. Not any before it or after it, However I believe the speed limit cant drop more than 10 MPH from one zone to another. Also usually required to post a sign "Reduced speed ahead"Keep one foot on the gas and one eye on the law.
