Question:
When I am on the interstate going 75 ( speed limit is 70) and a mustang, corvette, bmw, lexus, or a couple others pass me going 90+, I say looks like they can afford the ticket. But when I see a car with the muffler hanging on by a piece of duct tape and the car all rusted, it gets me mad for some reason. Maybe because I think they have a better chance of crashing and making me late because of the traffic jam that would cause, or I dont know.
Do you know what I am talking about? Does this bother anyone else?

Jeeze you people ever hear of giving the person the benefit of the doubt?
They drive a cheap car, so that means they must be young. When you're young you're always in a hurry, whether it's going to work or school, younger people just have more going on in their lives. And I know it doesn't sound great and people will always say it's not worth the risk of crashing, but sometimes you don't have the luxury of being late for a job interview or missing a class, and yes it does happen.
Tips for fuel-efficient driving?
Get mad at the people who rev their engines and peel out at stoplights if you wanna aim at the showoffs, those guys are blatantly doing so. My car isnt shitty but it's 13 years old, and I frequently am late to a class I can't miss (yes it happens sometimes im up studying or finishing homework till 3 in the morning), who am I trying to impress by speeding? Like I really care what other people who im never going to see think? All im concerned with is looking out for cops, cars that could potentially cause me harm, and corners. Yes I speed when im late, but I always keep a safe tailing distance and don't cut people off. And NEVER speed when it's wet out, im late but I don't have a death wish.

As matter of fact it does. I can't stand show offs. I do think in those lines also. I always think about the crash and being late to where I am going.IM driving from Madison,Wi to Memphis,Tn would it be cheaper to drive a mini van or a SUV?
I hear ya, I really get ticked when that happens to me but then again look how good the guy in the c can must feel, he's just a grinnin !Maybe their lack of good sense is the reason they're driving a car like that in the first place.

It really does seem that there is less law enforcement on the roadways these days, and when a ticket IS issued, it's to a guy like you or I,who are only going 5 over. THAT'S annoying!

I would say I'm just glad they're a long way in front of me and out of my way. With them behind me, they could randomly come crashing through and I'd have nowhere to go. With them in front of me, I would at least have some hope of avoiding them when they inevitably total themselves driving in such a fashion in an unroadworthy car.Why do Buttholes do 30 mph in a 45 mph speed zone !!!?
