How long does it take to drive one mile at 65mph in seconds? 75mph?

Question:
My girlfriend and I are going to take a road trip and I don't have time to fix the broken speedometer cable on our '04 GMC Sierra. So, I figured I could set the stopwatch on my cell phone and determine our speed by how long it takes to drive a mile. Thanks for your help.
