Because the police don't do their job. Hear me out here...if the cops were actually out there pulling people over that were impeding the flow of traffic, as they should be, instead of giving tickets for 11 over when there's no danger (by the way, the "speed limit" was originally supposed to be a suggestion, not a money maker), then those people wouldn't even think of being in the left hand lane unless they wanted to pass because they wouldn't want a ticket.Is it true the most economical speed to drive is about 56mph?

I always have to take route in Santa Cruz mountains to work. Sometimes I had to use fast lane to avoid flipping over. Many passed by me like crazy. I drive like 55 mph on curves with 45 mph speed limit. Really, I'm not like other a**holes. Noticably, guys are intentionally aggressive when it comes to driving.
