Question:
I live near Vaughan Mills and I'm starting grad school @ University of Toronto Mississauga (off Mississauga Road). I've decided to commute and I don't know what the best routes are @ peak rush hours (9am and 5pm) to avoid traffic. Has anyone experienced any routes that bypass traffic? I'd appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks!
Answers:
Public transit: Viva (YRT), Mississauga Transit. You can study while commuting.
If you are travelling between Vaughan and Mississauga during peak hours, then sadly, you will not be able to avoid traffic. The highways are always busy no matter what time of day, and when there are jams and backups, all the main streets get clogged more as people look for alternatives. Check into public transit. You just may find a way to get to and fro without all the stress and costs.
