Where should I put my EZPass if I dont want it to be read?

I'm taking a trip and I need to bring my EZPass with me. The problem is I dont want it to be read. Can I put it in the trunk? or is there something I should put it in?

None of those options work If you contact the EZPass service center, they will send you a special metallized plastic bag at no charge. If you put the pass in the bag, it can't be read. You can also request these online once you register at the EZPass website.
