Does anyone commute to Thousand Oaks, CA?

Question:
I was wondering if anyone took the Metrolink or Amtrak to Thousand Oaks -- don't think there are stations there, so which station you get off at and how you get there (by bus, etc.)? Also if you come from the Los Angeles area, how is the drive/train ride? Which is preferable? Thanks!

Answers:

was any one on the m6 at juntion 19 monday morning at about 7.30?

MetroLink runs north of Thousand Oaks. The closest it gets is Moorpark.
Somehow I think commuting that way would be an excercise in patience.

Driving from "the West-Valley" into Thousand Oaks, you'd be going against traffic, so it should not be too bad. Have not been able to find any bus routes that way. Check with the Los Angeles MTA.
