I am coming from Newark NJ to brooklyn, which train should I take from the penn station?

Question:

Answers:

How do you take a train from NYC and get Red Bank, NJ?

from newark penn station, take the PATH train on track 1. just ask an attendant there and they will tell you where to get it. its $1.50 each way and you can take it into manhattan and then get the city subway from there to get into brooklyn. you can also take a NJTransit train to new york penn station but why pay $8 to go to the same city that the PATH can get you to on the cheap?

Which Penn Station? I'm not sure about the one in Newark, but if you're talking about the one in Manhattan, you should check http://mta.info to figure out which subway goes to the area in Brooklyn that you're looking to travel to.
