Question:
What is the average cost of parking in a parking garage in Boston? Would it be cheaper to park once and ride the T to a few stops or just drive? I would need to park in two locations, but ride the T from the area of parking to the Museum of Fine Arts, to a Theatre, then back to the parked car. So, with two people (myself and girlfriend), I could either park twice, or get on the T three times (which is actually 6 because there are two people). What should i go with?

What is the best daily commute option from milpitas to san francisco downtown.?
Park, then ride. Otherwise, you'll be hit with multiple minimum charges for parking. The scale of charges just doesn't work for hopping around. Actually, your best bet might be to park at an outlying station (for example, Braintree or Weymouth) and catch the commuter train/T in from there. Been there, done that. I'll never again spend the day driving and parking around Boston. It comes down to your prefs though - I'm just telling you the cost diff.
What do you do on a long car ride (4 hrs.)?
The cost of parking in Boston, as in many cities, varies widely depending on the neighborhood and the garage... you can get away with a $15 space in a garage in government center, but easily pay $40 for a few hours in back bay. I'd suggest making use of the MBTA... it's much easier and would be at the low end of the cost scale for parking, if not a significant savings.More Questions & Answers ...
