The number one way is to synchronize the traffic lights. I have to drive through a town that actually deliberately "un" synchronizes them to discourage through traffic, even though it's the only route you can take. It not only snarls traffic, it wastes gas and increases pollution.why is the right lane the slow lane?
The number two way is to make dedicated right turn lanes at intersections, so you don't hold up a mile of traffic waiting for a pedestrian to get out of the way before you make a right turn.

All of us would agree that accidents could take place not just because of our own mistakes, but of some other drivers too. So, it is worthwhile to be alert of the driving of other people as well as your own.
