I assume you mean bicycling? If so, I used to do 22 miles one way to my community college. If it was too late for the return trip or I was just too tired, I'd lock up the bike and take a bus home. Then I'd take a bus up in the morning, and ride back if I did not have a late class. Occasionally I would ride 22 miles back at night with a good headlight.
