Definately the driver because I have control and trust issues. I hate to drive but I do it. If I have to be the passenger I usually take something to calm my nerves before I leave. If it wears off I just try and distract myself as much as I can.

MY wife and her sister went to drive from Texas to Cali and we would split up the driving (sister in-law and me) But with in-like two hours I couldnt handle her driving anymore So I politely told her I'd take over for a while and ended up driving the next 4 days home! LOL o'well I needed my sanity!

humm...I like to be the passenger if I know the driver is a safe driver otherwise I like to be in control.
As the driver, I want a passenger capable of reading a map. Nothing more anoying than having someone unable to tell you next direction!
