I live in So Cal and there is ALLWAYS tons of traffic.
Answers:
Are gas prices going down in louisiana anytime soon??
Too many people living too far away from where they can find a job they want or that pays enough to live on. With gas prices bound to keep going up, they might not be able to afford to commute anymore.Yeah, I know SoCal. I lived there for two years many years ago, and occasionally visit my son out there now. It does really stink, doesn't it? I didn't grow up there, so I have a hard time believing how many people choose to live/stay there. It does have its charms, but traffic, the endless beige sprawl of cities, and the gray air are not at all attractive.
My speedometer is off, how do I figure out what my actual speed is?
I blame Henry Ford.Manual Transmission...Help on Downshifting.?
Well move to where no one else lives. From Southbay to UCLA. Can i avoid using the 405 N Santa Monica freeway?
Many reasons. Everybody wants a good deal. It is cheaper to buy a house "out in the suburbs," than it is to buy one downtown. Plus, everybody likes development, but not in their own neighborhood. So development must continue further and further out of town. This makes the commute even further than it was originally. Happens everywhere. How much will I spend on gas if I start in Arlington, TX to New York, NY and back?
To exercise your patience :)Which is better ,commuting by rail from suburbs or being the city proper?
There are a LOT of people driving with suspended licenses, expired tags, no driver license at all (illegals) and cars that are unfit to be on the road. If we could get all these scofflaws off the highway, it would help a great deal.More Questions & Answers ...
