what does spary means, in drag racing. thanks?
I believe that it never happened because there are to many cities, counties, and two states that have to come to agreement on right-of-ways, where stations would be located etc etc, and these agreements could not be finalized. All it takes is ONE county not cooperating to kill the whole idea.

The High Speed Rail Authority in California is currently working on a High Speed Rail Plan, however, none of the allignments in the draft plan inicludes a route towards Nevada. The big hang up currently is the allignment into the Bay Area...whether to go through Pacheco or Altamont Pass. However, it would be really smart to have a line going towards Vegas because a lot of the people who commute from the inland empire into LA or SD would use it too. You should go speak at one of the high speed rail authorities public meetings and tell them your ideas (however it will take a long time...probably 2030 at the earliest)More Questions & Answers ...
