Can a speed camera catch you if you're on the other side of the road?
Pretty much a judgment call,but use your mirrors,and make sure there is enough room to open your door on both sides of your car on either side.If parking in a mall try backing in,this is tricky but it is better than trying to back out of busy mall during holiday shopping and getting hit by a distracted frantic shopper on cellphone or with yelling kids in their ears.
I always look for a spot that is far away from most cars ,if this is not possible practice using your mirrors on both sides of the car.
When backing in your driver's side is usually on their passenger side of car,which then you don't have to worry as much of your driver's side door getting scratched by their door,that is if they don't have any unruly children using their passenger side door and swinging it open smashing your door...ughhh...i don't' even like to think of that.

All you have to do is to get some thing soft and high enough so it wont damage the car, you can see it from your drivers seat and practice on your drive way to see how close you can get to it without hitting it.Have ago.More Questions & Answers ...
