Question:
is there a site that gives directions with the changes of traffic flow in mind?
Answers:
A commuters quandry? People who don't practice slower traffic keep right?
Sigalert.com will show you real-time freeway traffic conditions. Mapquest is a crapshoot and their travel times are based on optimum traffic flow, which is usually not the norm unless you're driving at 3 AM. They're wrong too often. Yahoo! is better, I've found.I haven't found any travel direction website that is always correct. Mapquest is rapidly becoming one of the worst, not only for unrealistic times but for just plain incorrect directions. I used Yahoo Maps too but found it to be about the same.
Garmin or tom tom - your opinion plz?
That's where your brain is suppost to function! How would Map Quest know anything about traffic volume, they're a "MAP" company! Call your local "spy in the sky" radio station if you want to know traffic volume! My navigator that cost $1000 doesn't even give me that information and the damn thing talks to me!!!
Map Quest gives you "time " based on distance and average speed limits!
Will i make it to the laker's game on time on a friday night?
Don't you think your request is a little ridiculous? Come on now, how the heck are THEY supposed to know about traffic patterns all over the nation? Get serious, man.More Questions & Answers ...
