How many people does a regular sized school bus hold?

They are idiots and they don't know how to drive them. If they want to spend the retirement savings on gas let them. Well as far as consumption I think they get around the 7-9mpg range they usually have 50-100 gallon tanks and diesel is at $3.00/gal so just add it up.

In my neighborhood there's these stupid idiots that insist on parking their huge 32' RV in their driveway, such an eye sore.

Advice on scooters?

It is nice that someone can afford to drive an rv, but it depends on their engine. Many of the larger rvs & mobile homes run on diesel, so they get more bang for the buck. Mpg starts at 5mpg & goes up from there depending on engine, location, driver, & load. In some places, they do have to pay to park (also to pay to hook to electrical, water, & sewer), but they can pull into any rest area or 4 wheeler parking at a truck stop & spend the night, also

Is Gasoline Octane 93 really better?

My biggest pet peeve with rv drivers is that they can drive a vehicle which is nearly the size of a standard tractor trailer, but only have a regular driver's license. They don't have to log their time, undergo any physicals, or anything that a commercial vehicle driver faces, yet some are in no shape to handle vehicles of that size. Some (not driving it as part of their job) have the nerve to park in the truck parking at a truck stop & take away a needed parking space for an 18 wheeler who put in his/her day & needs to hide for the night.

Who has been affected by the contaminated fuel?

It can be easier to get a hotel, but that gets expensive after a while. Also, Greyhound is no fun ride. You can't stop anywhere with Greyhound, since many terminals are located in larger cities with no access or limited access to car rental locations. With rv's, you can live your life inside your vehicle & be at home. So it will all depend on the person what they want to do.

What are you supposed to do when a traffic light turns orange?

They actually get better gas mileage than you think. And as for the planet, a lot of the people in them are actually live-ins. Which means that it is their primary residence. This means they may burn a little deisel going place to place, but the appliances they use on a daily basis have to be much more efficient. So it sort of balances out. Especially if you compare the things to the McMansions they would be living in otherwise.

What do you think about the proposed daily fine for London SUV drivers?

I think that RV'ing is generally a good wholesome pastime, but there are a number of things that need to be done to make our highways safer.

Is a stick shift bad?

On several occassions, I have had a few people swerve their house on wheels into my lane while on the highway... not a big deal, I'm used to having people in cars cut me off, but maybe you'd think that they would pay closer attention to a gasoline truck??! I have seen a few too many RV's who go dangerously slow on the highway... turn on your flashers please! It's only the law!

How many road traffic signs are there in the uk?

I agree that their should be more regulation and licensing for RV's. I also can't stand pulling into a truck stop in need of a place to sleep for a few hours, finding what looks like a parking space, and pulling halfway in, only to find a small pickup with a pop-up camper. We need to share the road, and I'm happy to accomodate anyone who is driving safely, but when you can't go the speed limit, hold up traffic and can't control your vehicle since its too big for you... maybe its time to purchase a timeshare and take a plane.
