driving fast uses much more fuel. You have to consider that the faster you go the more wind resistance you have along with other factors like higher engine speed. I would recommend watching your fuel Gage more closely.Whats the difference between drive and over drive?
Slower would give you more miles per gallon, therefore a better chance of making it to the station before running out of gas.If i take a long trip with overdrive off the whole time.will it mess anything up on my car?
Well, when you drive fast you lose much more gas and faster so you should drive slower wich saves gas. I am not totally sure about that so you should ask someone expierienced, but I think I m pretty sure I'm right.(P.S. my dad told me that when I was 8 years old)
Drive slow.but the best thing to do is to be sure to fill up before you get to E.
Does any one travel to Pasadena from Santa Monica in the mornings? How is the traffic?
Slow. The car will use a certain amount of gas per mile. If the gas station isn't moving away from you, then being more efficient will get you there. Gunning the engine may use all your gas before you get there.Speed Guns, are they out at half 9 at night on a single carriageway national speed limit road?
You want to go as fast as you can while keeping the engines rpm low. At 55 mph most cars are running between 1500 and 2000 rpm. Anything over 60 mph and your gas mileage reduces rapidly.Does any one no were i can get a motorised scooter from?
I don't let my fuel level get that low in the first place. Well, except for when I bought my last motorcycle I ran the first tank of gas with the petcock on Reserve. Started running on fumes so tried to switch to reserve only to find it was already there. That time, you could say I was traveling slowly as I had to push the bike about 3/4 mile to fill up.More Questions & Answers ...
