Will High Gas Prices Inspire Alternative Fuel Research?

Question:
I DONT MIND SPENDING MORE ON GAS IF IT WILL HELP REDUCE THE WORLDS DEPENDENCY ON MIDDLE EASTERN OIL AND THE TERROR THAT IS SUPPORTED BY MIDDLE EASTERN OIL PROFITS. WILL HIGHER GAS PRICES FORCE THE WORLD TO COME UP WITH CHEAPER, CLEANER ALTERNATIVE FUELS?

Answers:

I have to appear in court tommorrow for a traffic ticket do you think I can get this dropped or changed?

Unfortunately, money collected this way only goes to fund what the government, oil companies, and auto companies want - which is not necessarily what you and I really need. Hydrogen sounds great, but it is really a boondoggle - a money and time waster - to delay real, practical cars that people can really buy and drive.

Look what has been developed despite NO HELP from government programs, oil companies, or big automakers:

The Phoenix electric pickup truck can:

Well if u go some where and u have to be there major and people are driving so slow is wrong for u to be mad?

-Travel up to 250 miles per charge
-Carry 5 passengers plus cargo at 95mph.
-Charges batteries in as little as TEN MINUTES.
-Has batteries that last 250,000 miles (never need replacement.)

Yes this is a real car. They are being built for fleet customers right now. And your media isn't even telling you about it.

-The cost to drive on electricity is only a penny or two per mile, which beats all the other alt-fuel choices.
-Pollution is also very low, even when powerplants burn dirty fuel, because of the high efficiency of electric vehicles.
-And maintenance on EVs is also extremely low, because electric motors have only one moving part - they can run for decades with no service.

At what gas price?

It hasn't happened yet.

Has anyone else been hit by a deer?

I doubt it. If the economy was controled by 'what is right' and 'what is best of the environment', then it would happen. But the automobile and gasoline industries control too much. Alternative fuel sources would require; 1) a massive restructure of the gas distribution system; 2) new compatable cars; and 3) automatic recalls and replacements of all 'old' vehicles. These three things are expenses that no one is willing to incur, so they are just going keep going with the way things are.

Do you wish your salary went up as fast as the cost of gas?

Sorry to sound so cynical, but I gave this a lot of thought a few years ago and found that the business aspect was just too expensive.

Have you ever particpated in Road Rage?

Gonna' have to give you a big fat NO on that one. If you haven't figured it out yet, they only want your money. Alt fuel technolgy has been around for a long time. If people were to go to an alternate source of fuel, all of the American Greedbastards and Saudi dickbags who wear KFC table cloths on thier heads would not be able to afford the lavish lifestyles they lead. Fact of the matter is,,,,, it's time for real change, but you better be prepared for some sacrifice.

What do you think about the Yucaipa Omni Link Share Ride Service?

You know, a lot of these "alternative" fuels and energy conserving devices for our cars have been around a lot longer than you think, but have been bought up or killed by the oil companies. I have a friend who was working on one a few years back and quit while researching what happened to others with similar ideas.

Does anyone know the fastest way to get to Dodger Stadium leaving South Orange County at 5:00 avoiding the 5?

It already has. Researchers and Developers are working on several new fuel options, one of them is Hydrogen as well as bio diesel and fuel derivates from corn, electric cars are also getting better and cheaper. It is all in the works just takes times to make the technology affordable for you and me
