Do people typically commute from Canmore to Calgary? Is it doable in winter? How long dos it take in winter?

I am thinking of moving to Canmore and commuting to Calgary. I wondered if this is a common activity / other people do it? What is the road like in winter? Snowy? Slow?

The snow is not bad it goes pretty smooth maybe a little slower not much. It is the ice you got 2 worry about if it is real slippery out then yes it goes real slow. This is just a guess and it all depends on how slippery it is and traffic but it could be between 1 to 1 1/2 hours
