Question:
It would be a lot better if this actually happened and stayed that way for good. People would be able to have enough cash to afford entertainment again. There wouldn't be a problem anymore for the people that can't afford much. I have a 12 gallon car that cost about 22-27 bucks to fill up now-a-days. Back then when gas was a lot cheaper, it only cost me 10-12 bucks to fill it up. There are people out there that are less fortunate to not have a nice running car with great gas mileage.

yes and your pay at work will drop to 7000 per year like it was in 1970A question about the 91 freeway 'Fast Trak' express lane...?
that would be great but i don't think it will happenIf we stopped driving so much and walking some more, we would not only pull the prices WAAAAAYYYYYYYY down. But also we would stop having the largest population of obese people in THE WORLD. It's the dependency on machines for locomotion that's killing us.
You'll never see $1.30/gallon gas again.
I thought it was high when it went to 69 cents...

The only way you're going to reduce fuel costs is to drive a more fuel efficient car - that's why diesel is now so popular here.

Gas prices go down during the holiday season when more people are out driving.
Just watch em'. They'll climb back up above 3.00 mid January.

What is the best website for showing traffic congestion?
Lol 1.30 per gallon is a thing of the past. Heck, I hope it gets back down to under 2.00 (which will probably not happen). But I do have to agree with you. If we wernt spending so much on gas these days then we would be able to go out once in a while. Can anyone point me in the direction of relatively cheap car parking - City centre Manchester?
I think it would be great, as I drive a PU with a 26 gallon tank and it costs me anywhere from 56.00 to 68.00 depending on the station to fill up.Why are London buses and trains so cold? Dont they have heating?
However the pure fact is most of the money per gallon of gas is really taxes. For instance in CA there is a $1.00 federal excise tax per gallon, and $.80 per gallon state excise tax, on top of the local sales tax, in my case 8%. So just to start off with the a $1.80 a gallon is excise taxes, so in reality I'm really paying the oil companies $.53 (give or take a couple of cents) per gallon.
is it safe to get down and travel at manthralayam road station at 11 pm (with family)?
I know this because it state law that these taxes be posted at the pump. It was our local and state reps that voted for these taxes.
how many gallons to drive 1,500 miles in a BMW 525d 04 plate?
No, it will never happen. It always amazes me that people complain about not driving to do fun stuff due to gas prices. When you consider the cost of entertainment itself, gas is not always the biggest expense. Examples:Baseball Game Tickets: $40 to 200.
Hotdog and beer at the park: $15 to 20.
Movies for two with popcorn and sodas: $22 to 28.
Drinks at clubs: $3.00 to $8
please help? new driver needs direction?
Driving distance to movie theatre: 8 miles X 2 = 16. On an SUV that's one gallon of gas.
I used to be in Human Resources and had people with faulty math who would miss work (at 8 to 12 dollars and hour) because their car used to much gas!
I am with you that gas prices are way to high, but that wont get on the way of me having a life. Also, judging by the amount of gas guzzling vehicles in the road (I am in Texas) gas is still not a big concern for many drivers.
On a final note, you could get a motorcicle. I get 56 to 60 MPG on my Ninja and 44 to 48 on my Magna!
What are the policies about photographing subway systems and lightrail systems in the United States?
i own a repair shop, and that's a topic that gets brought up at least 10 times a day around my shop, but i don't think we,ll ever see it below 2 dollars again,,it almost got there a while back here in Tennessee, but it didn't make it to that here where i live,i would really like to see it get there though ,,there a lot less fortunate people who do not have a choice in choosing to buy gas or food just to be able to work,,and i don't think that's fair to them or us,,i cut my labor rate down to help them out some,,but even by doing that it don't help much, some people are having it rough, and i hope our politicians are enjoying the gain, because ,i always believe everything you gained under false pretense, you will loose it,and i believe this to be true,,so only time can tell right now,who knows we may be paying 4 bucks a gallon by summer for it,,good luck,i hope this help,s...have a good x-mas.What would happen if you were traveling at the speed of light and you turned you head lights on?
Never for two reasons:1. Oil is getting more expensive to drill for. The easiest oilfields have already been tapped out.
2. People in India and China want to own cars too, and they'll want gas.
Do you think Gasoline rationing would bring down the price? Why or Why not?
The good news is, it'll never go over $10, because at that price there are many ways to make fuel synthetically - coal gasification, biofuels etc.
What was your commute like this morning?
Guess which country has all the coal... the USA.
how many days does it take to get from Los Angeles, CA to Raleigh, NC by greyhound bus?
I agree with what everyone has written. Other countries are needing gas to run their plants and more people in China are able to afford cars nowadays. With the cost of living going up, the price of gas will also go up. Also someone mentioned it costs more to drill for oil. I would agree with that too. People have said that hybrid cars would be great because it may help lower the price of fuel since with better mileage, the demand for gas would decrease. However I have also heard that if cars get better mileage, people would drive more so the demand would not change. So therefore I do not see the price of gas going back down to $1.30 though it would be nice if it did. I will just be glad if the price dropped below $2.00.helllllll noooooo
