Going 35 over speed limit north carolina?

Question:
I was going 35 over the speed limit in north carolina with out of state license. What will happen? First time speeding. Will I get jail time?

Answers:

I want to move to Murrieta Ca and commute to Torrance Ca how long would it take me?

That's a serious one. Get a lawyer. Should not have to do jail time but will definitely get points. I'm pretty sure you'll have to do traffic school (about $135 plus court costs) for the bargaining. Ah, just noticed you are from out of state .... might be jail time, then ... it all depends on your lawyer, how you appear in court, and how easy you make it for them. Where did you get stopped? If you say Johnson County, it's a hanging county.
