Driving distances?
If I were to drive the speed limit, it would take me 53 minutes to get from my driveway to the parking lot at work, including one run through the Tim Horton's drive-thru. WIthout the drive-thru, it is 47 minutes.
In this time of energy conservation, why aren't more states creating rail systems?
But, I tend to get there in about 35 minutes. Not much choice living in a town that has few jobs and not having a nearby community to work in.

I suppose it would depend on the situation what I'd be willing to do but I would say, having grown up in a more rural area, that I would not commute more than an hour (one-way) unless absolutely necessary.

It takes me about 25 minutes during optimal driving conditions, 50 minutes during rush hour, and anywhere from 45-90 minutes if there has been an accident or some other situation. What I drive now is the most I would do.
