What is a stop time at a traffic signal?

I'm sure there a lot of starter motors, but I assume you are asking about a starting motor in a car. The starter motor is and electric motor which gets its power from the car's battery. When you turn the ignition key, the power from the battery flows to the starter motor. When the starter motor turns, it meshes gears into the car's flywheel which causes the car's engine to turn. As the engine begins to turn, gas and spark cause explosions in the cylinders which makes the engine run and powers the car.
