Question:
I have to get to Roosevelt Rd (driving west on Roosevelt) in downtown-ish Chicago tomorrow morning. I'm going to come up I-65 and get on I-90 all the way back in Indiana. I was planning on taking I-90 all the way and exiting on Roosevelt, but I saw this morning that there is going to be construction near there (it's supposed to end right before the exit, but the website is trying to dissuade cars from using that area of 90 to get to it).
My question(s) are...how much extra time should I give myself to compensate for traffic on 90 if I take it all the way to Roosevelt?
Secondly, should I take 41 and go along the lake instead and turn onto Roosevelt there? And how long do you think that would take with traffic?
How long would it take an average adult, walking an average pace to walk about 1000 miles straight?
I will be coming through at around 7-7:30am (my appt is at 8:30).
