Please, pretty please, dim your lights when you encounter oncoming traffic. It is very annoying and sometimes unsafe to the other drivers, makes it very hard to see if something is in the road like a blown tire or maybe a very large moose. Also, one of the first signs of fatigue is sensitivity to light and if you have to drive all night it becomes painful...kind of like someone poking you in the eye with a nail.

It still may cause irritation to the eyes of the traffic traveling in the opposite direction. and you need to think about the cars in front of you that can be blinded thru their rear view mirror.should petrol be more expensive?
no! the only way you can use them with oncoming traffic is if the median that separates them is so big or has trees in the way so you can't see the cars at all. As long as the cars can still see you they can still see your brights and it is a visibility hazard for them.jay uses 5 1/3 gallons of gas to drive to work and back 4 times?
