As far as other drivers passing you on the right, I have to ask why you are not in the right hand lane if other drivers are passing you by. Slower traffic should always move to the right, thereby freeing up the travel lanes and preventing congestion. It sounds like you need to review your own driving habits because you may not be a very courteous driver.

If any of you have ever been to Germany, check out how they do it. It was one of the most beautiful things to watch. Germans drive with discipline. They also have to study for their drivers licenses for their entire time they are in High-School. Not the 12 month crap we pass off as drivers education here. Taipei, Taiwan takes the cake - driving there is the most interesting experience you can ever have in a car. Between the clouds of blue smoke from all the motorcycles and scooters, to the trucks and cars trying to manuever 6 or 7 lanes of traffic into 3 lanes of space, Taipei has the worst dirvers. Striped traffic lines are merely guidelines - if you hesitate, you will be run over by the other drivers. Traffic signals are merely indicators when to start racing.
