Question:
I drive and I see people talk on their cell phones. I don't understand. Unless it is really an emergency, why can you just pull over to the side or call when you get to your destination? Don't you realize it is kind of a safety hazard.

a traffic conditions at grafton nsw, regarding road closure due to accident?
I talk and drive all the time. I have never had a problem doing so, because I am able to focus on the road. It is no different than talking to a passenger in the vehicle. As a matter of fact, talking to a passenger is more distracting, because you have a tendency to look at the person you are talking to, rather than the road.
Does Yahoo have maps for metro bus lines?
Driving takes skill and concentration. Some people are able to drive safely, and talk on the phone, some can not. I am one who can.
Approximately how much would it cost in gas to drive 1800km?
I am able to get a lot more done by using my time in the car efficiently, than I can otherwise. I spend several hours a day behind the wheel, and would rather use that time efficiently!
Why are the roads so terrible in some states?
Sorry if you do not like my answer, but until you have seen me have a problem with talking and driving (and you will not), do not try to control my (safe) actions!!

why is diesel fuel more expensive than regular gasoline?
They do it because they are selfish and ignorant. They honestly believe they can "multi-task" safely. They really don't see the lives and property of others as more important than their "right" to order pizza or set up a date while driving. When they inevitably have an accident, they throw the phone on the floor of the car. Police officers investigating accidents have noted these phones, still on, but nobody admits to using them and most of the time there is not witness to accuse the driver of being distracted by the phone. How much are gas prices where you live?
I'll freely admit to talking on mine as well. I commute over an hour each way to my internship, and it's the only time I'm trapped in one spot long enough to have an opportunity to catch up with people I haven't talked to in awhile. If I'm on the phone, I stay in the right lane doing the speed limit and make a conscious effort to stay aware of everything in my surroundings... which is a lot more than I can say about other drivers I encounter who aren't even on their phone.I would like to know why within a 15 mile range energy companies charge such different prices.?
yeah. People are insane. I've even seen someone writing notes on their steering wheel while driving. They were weaving on an 8 lane high way. I hope it was REALLY important, so that when they kill someone, they can explain to the family that their love one didn't die in vain. Those directions to the pizza place were worth the 20 to life sentence for involuntary manslaughter. Why people don't use the turning lanes?
Personally, I don't. Actually, I can't. I drive a manual transmission. I'm too busy trying to drive to answer a cell phone. If I answered my cell, someone really would die.
When you pass your driving test do they ask for a new photograph?
Some of us actually have the ability to chew gum and clap at the same time. We can also talk on a phone and drive competently too.As a business man, I would not reach ANY destination if I had to stop for every call, so that's not an option.
