Let's say you get cut off on the freeway. What do you do? Do you think "what a jerk" to yourself and continue on? Or do you tailgate the guy while leaning on your horn and flashing your highbeams. I promise you, the guy in front of you is not thinking that you are cool and that he should apologize. He thinks you are an idiot, and personally, I would be more likely to mess with you when you do that. Here's a thought, maybe the guy didn't see you...meaning he didn't do it on purpose so CHILL OUT! Thoughts?

Or perhaps his road rage goes up, and he tries to get away, you follow, he slows, you follow. Why Do People Drive so SLOW on the freeway???
When someone cuts across five lanes of traffic and cuts me off so they can gain two car lengths I just consider them to be one of the most important people in the world. I figure they are one of the disciples, and they are late for the second coming.Morons are morons, there is nothing short of shooting them that will help. The thing that is really unfortunate is the ever increasing number of them, while the roads become more densely populated everyday.
Why do we rush to work but don't rush home?
Road Rage is Horrible and its the farthest thing from cool! its understandable if anyone got cut of they wouldnt be too happy and really a honk or a flash of headlights is okay cause the person who cut you off should realise wat they have done. But to actually tailgate and curse at the person who cut you of is another. Im sorry if you have road rage please put it in check! because ROAD RAGE ONLY PROMOTES MORE ROAD RAGE!Its bad for you health and worst of all its dangerous! there have been many accidents and fights due to road rage which could all be prevented. The fact is one day when you cut someone of by mistake, that person will come to attack you and only then will you know how awful it really is.

A Stafford County, VA jury had sentenced her to 2 years in prison for throwing an "ice missile" inside a car which cut her off two times. The military wife broke down in tears and pleaded the judge for mercy - not thinking what could have happened if the other car had lost control resulting in the death of the driver or other innocent people. If someone cuts me off, I let them go. I want to live another day and stuff like that happens on the road. The last time I drove a car, I was passed by a group of 10 motorcyclists going over 100 MPH. If someone is on a death wish, I surely want to get out of their way.

Finally, if the question was asked because of one's tendency to cut off people - maybe one needs to limit distractions like music and focus on the driving. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time but those mistakes do not need to be escalated to a point where the police become involved.
