Have locol government got to put traffic lights on every corner?

you would think with todays computer technology that we could have advanced to cars that get great gas mileage, but most of the oil companies have their hands in car manufacturing, so you probably wont see any until a car company gets off its butt and goes ahead and makes one,

What do you think of this?

Bus Route Question??

Muni citation cost in sf?

Yes. There are contests with cars that actually get more that 100 MPG. However, these are not really ready for the public yet. I am working on a prototype car that (hopefully) will get about 150 MPG.

just a thought?

In the real world, this will never happen. It's hard enough to get 100 MPG from a 150 pound moped. It will never happen with a vehicle that 2000 pound car.

I would like to take a car to Hondurous to sell, then travel to Belize to visit for a week or so. Any tips?

It takes energy to move the mass of a car. The current preferred method is petroleum based fuel. There is not enough energy in a gallon of gasoline to propel a 2000 pound car 100 miles.

Do you think school children will be allowed to drive car and scooter for there commuting to school?

There was an article on this in Popular Mechanics magazine about 3 or 4 months ago. It was very interesting and i suggest that you check it out. It was the cover story and it told of personal accounts of people tinkering with their cars and reaching 100 mpgs. It also gave the magazines view on reaching it and the model car they created.

should we be allowed to 'cruise' in the fast lane on interstates?

no the gas tank will over fill but wit technology that might b possible

I am on I - 40 eastbound in Greensboro, NC. Traffic is at a halt. Trying to get to Raleigh, NC. Need a detour.

Unfortunately if such a car was possible at minimum freeway speeds of 75 mph, it would have to be so light, and with such a tiny engine, that it would be unsafe to drive.
It would not possibly be able to meet impact standards, nor would it have sufficient acceleration to enable safe merging into traffic. It would need to be lighter than a Smart car, A class, or 1 series.

Any work in Surgarland, Tx and commute to Baytown, Tx?

I'm still in awe at the gas mileage numbers returned on small turbo diesel cars, such as teh Golf TDI and think for the average freeway driver, those will wind up being a better choice than the low speed use intended hybrids.
