Okay I am 15 and I live in California.

Can a city cop pull someone over on an interstate highway?

I know I can get my permit at the age of 15 1/2, what does that permit let me do?
And I get my licence at the age of 16 right? -So that means I can drive when ever and with who ever right?- What are the rules with that?

What are some traffic violations?

when you have your permit you have to drive with a responsible adult 21 yrs and older. when you are 16, it depends what state you're in..usually you can have no more than 1-2 other people in the car with you until you've had your license for like 6 mo. then you can possibly have 3 people. you can drive wherever you want but you have to obey the state/town's curfew usually is about 10:00pm during weekdays and 11-12 pm during weekends, but if you work then you are excused if you are working later than those times.

With your license i think you start off with a limit of only one non family member in the car and you cant drive really late at night
