Answers:

Public transport what is your view ?

Leave London by all means but you will still be fined if you constantly speed. If you can move to the country , be less stressed, the calming affect should help to stop your speeding. But initially the slower pace will get you down, it did me, but it is still the best thing I did and I did not live in London.

Do the little gas savers you can put in your gas line really work?

If you can move, do it. No one is making you stay.

Move to Peterborough. The train (GNER) to London takes 3/4 hour. Lots of people commute from there.

What is the difference between a street, avenue, boulevard, road, way, lane and parkway?

Yes i would leave england all together, i left england with my family three years ago BY FAR the best thing we've ever done. Taxes are minimal (council tax is about €400 a year about £280) and the real speeding fines start at 175kmph (well over 100mph) so have a think!

Can I deduct commute cost?

When I moved to London I couldn't believe the attitude of people when the train indicator in a tube station said more than 2 minutes. Within a few months I too would moan when I got to the platform and realised I had to wait a whole 2 minutes for the tube. Then there was the fight for the escalator with people pushing in, followed by the crush to get through the barriers. Everyone acts as though the world is going to end if they don't rush around and shave at least 4 seconds off their journey time!

Does anyone know if you need a permit to park down a side road in Wimbledon city centre?

After 7 years I'd had enough of the place and the sense of relief was brilliant. I started walking at a normal pace again instead of rushing around as though I was on fast forward. People say hello in shops and smile at you. Let's face it - life outside that miserable place is so much better. Those London-centric idiots go on and on about how good London is, how important their jobs are, snort far too much coke and talk far too much sh*te.

Have you ever particpated in Road Rage?

Most of my mates have moved out of London too and we all agree it is a good place to live when you are young, but get out before you turn into a tw@t.

Move to another country entirely, I was fed up with london so moved to Chelmsford, and got fed up there too, basically it was all the Taxes, Polital correctness, the general demise of society, law, and education that drove me to move abroard, best thing I ever did, and to be honest I´m not even planning on visiting the UK, I´ve told my friends and family that they should come and see me.

When is the best time to cross country by car?

You could move and get a somewhat slower pace of life for sure. However, I would point out that the fines you have received are very much widespread across the UK - the Gvt are getting lots of money for traffic offences so where ever you go - car wise be careful - but for a slower pace of life the UK is your oyster lol
