Answers:

Ah..hurry please answer!!?

Luton with a tail lift is your best option.
Cost depends on the type of service and the quantity that you buy and ship.
I.E. a dedicated van from Paris with say 10 large printers as a dedicated service (this means that you arrange for a van to go and p/u just your machines) to come back to London will cost around £700.00. If you arrange a courier to collect as a back load (this means he has already delivered to Paris and is offering a cheap return) then you should pay between £100 & £300 to collect your machines.
You will have to check with Revenue & Customs yourself as to how much duty you have to pay. However if you pay VAT in France then you don't have to pay here until you sell them.

Did you know you can save on gas by doing this..?

Why does the tv news report airport delays and not bus delays?

ibn any event get a van with a taillift... I wouldnt bother with a ramp.. usually they are mor etrouble than they are worth, unless they are purpose designed for shiftin your equipment.

Your driving down a country backroad when your car breaks down...?

A "Luton" body is one which extends over the cab. you won't want to lift a photocopier up there (or for it to fall out from there), so don't worry about whether it is a Luton or a box van.

Are we not already paying a pay-per-mile system?

Make sure you stay within the vehicle's GVW.
How many photocopiers will take you above a typical large transit-sized van's 3.5t payload? (The van will weigh about 1.7-1.8t).
Can you get a higher GVW van? (a 4.2t new Transit, or a 4.6t Mercedes Sprinter or VW LT, or Mercedes Vario, or high-payload version of the Iveco Daily)? If so, will your license cover you?

Is it worth moving out..?

I'd try to get something with a tail-lift, you'll be glad of it by the end of the day, even though it will be slow to use. You won't want to be lifting photocopiers all day.

If you are hiring and taking the van abroad, make sure you tell the hire company, and that they provide written permission, and valid insurance.
