Probably because they never read the Highway code! Unfortunately women seem to be big culprits of doing this. I once asked a woman why she did it and she told me the left lane was only for trucks and lorries! No hope!By the way I know some good women drivers so its not a sexist thing!
most of the time they do this because the wont have to merge over when someone from enters from an on ramp,this way they are always out of the way and can just keep going,without changing lanes,that's the main reason for it,and if you think about it makes a little sense ,good luck,i hope this help.s.

I do because I can.If you feel the need for speed that is what the fast lane is for. In fact, if you want to get technical there really is no passing or slow lane, it is merely a common courtesy extended to you by other drivers. You have no right to put lives at risk because of your impatience.

Cruise control set at 70mph in the middle lane! shouldn't cause a problem, because if some jerk want's to go at 90/100 mph he/she shouldn't be in the middle lane in the first place as only the fast lane allows a higher speed and for overtaking purposes only.I luv the middle lane!,, cruise control 70mph.. feet up and a good dvd on without all that concentration of having to dodge lorries and buses.
