Question:
I put on 550 miles per week just for work, that is not counting going to hockey games that are about an hour away and shopping I just trying to see if that is saving me money or not

·How does the guy who drives the snow plow get to work in the mornings?

I have to agree with john doe. I read an article recently (sorry, can't find it now) that said it does help with fuel cost . And while mitt is right that in cruise control the engine is revving at higher rpm's to get the car to the set speed, once you reach your cruising speed your vehicle will control the amount of fuel needed to keep you moving at that same speed (sorry, don't know exactly how it works so I can't explain in mechanical terms). If you increase your speed manually you can do it at lower rpm's, but manually you cannot control the amount of fuel you are using as absolutely as the cruise control.

Can you recommend a nice place to live up to 30 miles from Brighton, CO?

I can also tell you that I have experimented a lot with my own vehicle. I went from a fuel efficient Toyota to a Ford F-150 and I am VERY concientious of my fuel bill. Being a newer truck it has a feature that I can watch my average mpg, and believe me I do. In my experience, with the kind of driving you are doing, cruise control does help with saving money. I would also shop around for gas prices. Just a few cents difference at the pumps adds up over a year.

Do you have road rage, what does it take for you to get pissed off at someone?

technically yes but it depends at what speed the cruise is set. example 60-65 uses more than 55 mph will.

Where do i go if i'am looking to be a truck driving broaker?

Losing MPG- because when your in C/C the engine is automatically reving up to keep up the set speed.
(More RPMs= More Gas)

Urgent for Birmingham Uk Commuters?

While if your using the pedal manually you can gradually press the pedal not making the vehicle down shift to pick up speed.(Less RPMs=Less Gas)

Is anybody else pissed about the price of gas going back up? It'll probably be $3 a gallon soon?

Yes. If you're taking 50-mile trips, CC will save you gas.

Why is the right lane the slow lane?

On fairly level roadways you will save gas. If you have a lot of hills, no. Use your foot.
