My brother lives in London and he says it has reduced traffic but that has resulted in more people on a public transport system that cannot cope. I also think it puts people off visiting London. I don't visit as much as I used to and the last time I did I saved up and went by plane, which I know is wrong as it's even worse for the environment than driving.
