mmh general question but tk mine as an imp answer. Public transport as we all knw is in hands of Govt how to improve its upto them so we cant do much in that. But there are certain pvt companies which r trying to make life better for public commuters. We should move towards building systems that address the pollution aspect too... For example, building extensive network of electric rail systems is a good solution. It would work for us from the population aspect as well. Most of our cities are not well-planned so laying wider roads is not an option there.
