Heck I may be a little hardcore but I would at least attempt to go into work. I think that you have made a commitment to your employer to be at work everytime you possibly can. But then again if the roads are dangerous then it may be smart to stay home.Are stoplights triggered by time relays or traffic sensors?

Showing up just to be or look dedicated is not enough. If you have to perform or undergo surgery, you go. If you have a trial or hearing scheduled and the court has not expressly cancelled it, you go. If you're a lawyer and your client is going to suffer some adverse legal consequence of you not getting something done or filed, you go. That kind of thing = go to work.
