congratulations, it's a great feeling.I was excited, but nervous too when I realised I was allowed to drive on my own - I made lots of mistakes (silly things like stalling at roundabouts and traffic lights) but the more you do it the easier it gets, and I love driving now....

I was buzzing when I passed and on the way home, but I was really nervous the first time I drove on my own, didn't quite know what to do, the car I'd owned for 6 months while I was learning felt all weird and as if it wasn't mine, also when I was driving I felt as though somebody should be telling me where to go! Good luck honey.Am happy for you.It was a long time ago for me, but I remember feeling like I was the coolest person on the road. Almost like a spotlight was shining on me. However, I remember the car I was driving, and it was my mom's big, old Ford, so I probably wasn't too cool. My first trip alone was to go to the grocery store to get a loaf of bread. Woo! Hoo!
